The hospital was mainly founded by the then President of Sandeshkhali Union Board BINODBIHARI GAYEN who also established near about 52 nos. School in the areas of the Sundarbans .The land-donor was Srimanta Mridha of Village Khulna .Binodbabu paid money for land development to the labours up to 1975 A.D. In this great idea some persons assist him like Bhupati Bhushan Mridha, Rakhal Chandra Pramanick, Sailendra Nath Patra and others.
