While reading some reviews, I find some people are against boarding for 10 years, as parents and children are not in much contact... But we should remember because of either illiteracy or ignorance or timing constraints, many parents are not giving proper time to their children. That's why from earlier time we can concept of Gurukul... If you are able to give proper time to your children with complete involvement and complete awareness and knowledge of your culture with ability to answer or guide each question of your child (not academic questions, but religious/spiritual/any other non-academic questions), if you able to this properly, then you are welcome to do it... But if are not able to any of above, Gurukul is perfect for your child... Some people says, in 10 years bond or relation between parents and children gets disturbed... But it is not a case, I can not explain it now , but when I will experience anything in that, I will add that point here... All above are just my opinions...
I am not sure how this boarding school is actually fitting into Sadhguru's idealogy. I am a big fan of Sadguru's speeches (specially Youth and Truth program to many premium institutes national & internation). Most of his speech, multiple times he mentioned having a child is 20 years Project for the parents. But getting admission in Isha Home School simply means that almost 10 years parents are getting away from thier key responsibility and assuming someone else will take care. I like the whole concept of this school except home boarding. I would highly recommend if Isha foundation can bring such educational models to multiple cities without boarding. For Example, Birla Open Minds, DPS, etc.
This school is located inside the Isha Yoga centre. Co education school.
If I ever get a daughter or son, they will either be in this school or JK school. Exemplary school 🙏❤️🔥
