I miss you my vhs school and Mettur dam
Brings Golden memories! I can’t speak of current Management as I’m Former Student of the School. Education and Sports opportunities were well balanced, Teaching staff were mixed bags though, but were supportive most of the times, you will definitely like the richness of Extra Curriculum activities.
I am a very old student of this school. I studied during the years 1950 - 59 and passed out my SSLC (that was equivalent to plus 10 ) exam in 1959. This was the only school available on the eastern side of the town, near the Railway Station. The other two schools viz., St.Mary's Girls' High School and Govt Boys' school were in down Mettur. I am sure these schools are still existing today. I still remember our Head Master Sri. S.K.Venkatraman and the battery of teachers who were very dedicated and efficient. The HM maintained a strict discipline in the school and the results were very good. Many of the students passed out of this school went on studied further in professional colleges and were working in high positions in Government and in industries and other commercial sectors. I am sure our school will be turning out talented boys even today. I am still proud to be an old student of this school. I wish the present staff a very good future and success.
I have studied in the period of 2008-11 in vaidheeswara higher secondary school. At that time this is the best school to compare other government schools like sampalli government school and Mettur government school. It's taught me discipline, education, responsibility everything. It's like golden memories in my life. My mother also studied in the same school. Here I had see the teachers having some passion about their work. I don't have any idea about current status of that school. But 4 years I spend with my close friends and finally relieved with good marks. Mohan Raj. He used to take tution for maths. Everyone scored well in the subject of maths. Even Shivaraj sir for social science subject in my 10 th standard. Everyone expect his class because of fun. My 9 th standard jayachandran sir for social science everyone used to scold that guy even other subject teachers used to scold that staff
