Kakoi High School which is established in 1965. The school contains class 6 to 10. There are two teaching medium Assamese and Bodo. Each year many students of different area admits here.

This institution is established in the year 1965. There are two teaching medium. Assamese and Bodo. In the whole lakhimpur district there are only 3 high schools that have bodo medium. Earlier there was two institution here. Kakoi M.E School and Kakoi High School. In 2000 two two school merged as one and named Kakoi High School. The distance to this school is only about 5 km from the North Lakhimpur Town. You can visit this school on any weather as the communication is very good.
