When my wife and me first went to this school for my son's admission it was bit difficult to find the place, it is placed deep inside the forest, the access route is very bad but manageable, that should not matter a person who wants better education can go to any corner of the earth, altogether a cool place with trees around and old building. I was excited to meet the principal (Ms Sophie Shivashankar) of the school and have my son's admission done. When we entered the Principals cabin, she asked who gave you the reference for this school, it was our friend from our society where we stay whose children also come to this school. She asked about our son, so we said he has writing disability (dyslexia) all other things are good he is going to another regular school, we only came here because of the learning methods which can improve my son's issue, and we came here so that we get good guidance for our son. She said with an attitude that NO I cannot take him here, you need a special school for him. She even did not do an assessment of my son before concluding even she did not speak to my son. BTW my son is going to a regular school and he does all his homework's. My son was selected in a regular school after assessment if he really had issues the school would have told us to go to a special school. This is not expected by Teacher who has 40 years' experience in teaching, this proves that she does not even know about child psychology if she did the assessment of my son and then conclude, we would have accepted it. But this type of behaviour from a Principal is not expected. She was also criticizing other schools and praising her school and method of teaching, which is not good ethics. If this is behaviour from 40 years' experienced teacher, how can she manage other kids? Shame on this institute to have Principal like her.
A good place to put your kid to learn in a Montessori way till 10th standard.. exams tests tension free peaceful school life :)
