This is a protected monument, not an active & happening place of worship. You may find govt guides who will clear your doubts, but no poojari ; you have to do your own pooja.
Beautiful temple of lord shiva located in the heart of arsikere town. The hoysala architecture, carvings and idols are major attractions. Lord shiva is worshipped here as Chandramouleshwara and the temple is called as shivalaya by the locals. Special abhisheka can be done by the devotees if they contact the purohits
