St.Xaviers was in my priority list for my kid as it bears a nice heritage name, has a beautiful building appearance & is very close to our existing place of residence, however we were utterly disappointed upon visiting the school & speaking with the front desk. The school lacks professionalism of an educational institute & works like a profit center where the base conversation starts after paying a registration fee of Rs.1200/-. Being new to the place, I thought this is the norm but after seeing nearly 11 schools in a radius of 10 KM, I understood how uncourteous & unprofessional are they to welcome any parent - God knows how they treat the kids. Everyone will have a different experience about a particular school but if an educational institute lacks basic etiquette & is not bothered whether the child gets an admission or not but they bag their registration fee, talks about their sole money mindedness. The school was referred by a close aid whose daughter studies in the same school & he too was shocked on knowing this attitude. The fees is exorbitant when compared with good schools of repute who hold the Top 15 ranking in the EW survey 2021 + this is the only school which charges for meals as an compulsion & not optional. To sum up the long review, it looks much more tilted on the profit side, than providing quality & as far as possible, should be avoided. On looking around, we realized there are many good institutes which are more compassionate & take pride & excitement in explaining what their school offers & how they can help shape the growing need of a child.
