This is oldest school of dotma area. Where from too many people are passed there secondary. Ther are starting class from classs VI to 12 till now. And also science stream of 12 are be going to held when the all teachers are available. And there is also auditorium are being in construction. I had passed my v to 12 education in there. The teachers are so good on the time of our those school day. But now how it is i don't. But i can be imagine that that can be the greatest school in this are till now. 😇😇😇😇😇😇
Dotma Higher Secondary School is the largest and the most beautiful school in Dotma area for classes 6 to 12. It was established in 1938. It is surrounded by different kinds of tall trees on all sides. The school comprises with three playgrounds. It covers an area of about 40 to 45 bighas of land. In the school 700 to 800 students enroll every year. The teachers strength is about 40. Shri Lalit Mohan Basumatary(MA, B Ed) is the present Principal of the school. The school is famous for its past pupil Late Upendra Nath Brahma, the father of the Bodos. Every year the school also conducts the Board examination of SEBA and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) of class 6 Entrance Examination under Dotma Block.
