Very famous for Khurma Sweet. It is historical place. Very close to birth place of Veer Kunwar Singh. School, college, hospital, post office, police station etc all are available.
I found it a great village in Bhojpur (Arrah) district. The best thing of the village which I experienced that all individuals live their life very brotherly while majority (95%) of the people belongs from Rajput cast. It has its own Panchayat. The famous sweet of the village is Khurma. The village has Railway station, Bus station, Thakurbari (Big Temple), Kali Mandir (Kali Temple), High school, three middle school and many private schools. There is a PSU bank , and also have cooperative bank. The police station is also available in the village... Wish you all to visit once as this is a historical place.
