The Central Jail of Gaya was built at a time when the British East India Company was ruling the country. The Gaya Central Jail is one of the greatest of its kind in the southern part of Asia. You may visit the jail during your vacation in Gaya, however you must keep certain rules in mind. The visiting hours starts from 10am and lasts till 5pm. You are not allowed to take photographs inside the prison premises, unless you have a permission letter signed by the authority.
