This is one of such four schools, in the country, the other three being at Ajmer (Rajasthan), Mysuru (Karnataka) and Bhubaneshwar (Odisha) as Departments of respective Regional Institute of Education

Demonstration Multipurpose School is a part of Regional Institute of Education, a constituent unit of NCERT. The Best part of thia school is that all the pilot projects of NCERT starts here at first and then implemented in other schools so the students here learn a bit more than the other students..I visoted DMS as a part of Observation Team and I was awestruck by the facilities they provide...Here the students are not only encouraged in academics but also in sports and co curricular activities.. Vocational Courses also run here under PSS Institute of Vocational Training.
