Bus stop
in front of the Canteen in the University campus, the pavement/footpath has some of the slabs removed. This pavement is used by scores of people daily. In case of rain water logging the opening would not be visible and any body could fall into this hole. Its quiet deep too, guess it could be more than 6 feet. Request the campus authorities to do something ASAP. Before it is too late. 21/12/2020 My sincere apologies for using this famous, religious, sacred temple as a landmark for bringing this information to the general public. Lord Muneshwar Temple situated in the heart of this sprawling campus full of flora and fauna, is an ideal place to spend some time sitting on the parapet behind the temple and soak in the peace and tranquility that surrounds the temple. The sacred divinity is so much in abundance, in and around this temple. Right Opposite the Lord Muneshwar Temple located in the Bangalore University Campus, is the road leading to the Sports Authority of India stadium, at the junction, opposite the temple there is one vendor who is selling vegetable juice. Couple of things observed during the course of my daily walking regimen at the campus is that:- a)This vendor urinates near to the place where he is doing his business. This is very unhygienic. Does he wash his hands afterwards is a suspect? b)The vendor does not use gloves while serving or attending to the Customers. c)the most irritating and annoying habit of this vendor is that he is always with his mobile in his hand. There are so many people jogging and walking right in front of his juice selling cart. e)Why does he have the mobile in his hand most of the time, and always when somebody is jogging or walking past his vegetable juice cart. I am not hinting or subscribing to any unnecessary or untoward habit of his, but I request people to be wary of anyone who has the mobile in his hand and directed towards anyone in their front. It is always judicious to take precautions, than being complacent. 29/12/2020 Two serious issues which needs to be addressed on priority 1) Behind the public swimming pool, there are dried leaves, twigs and branches being burnt. Its not permissible to burn anything in the campus. Its too dangerous. 2) At the Social Science department there are two puppies that have some serious health issues, It is observed that people come and feed them with biscuits. The empty biscuit covers are strewn around the place (sic) The need of the hour is not feeding and littering the place ,but the health of the puppies has to be addressed. Why cannot these so called good Samaritans call up some Animal welfare association? Or why cannot they take the puppies home and tend to their ailments? 3) People visit the campus and behind the public swimming pool and a couple of other places they feed the pigeons. Very commendable gesture! But please do not litter the place with the plastic covers that you bring the pulses to feed the pigeons. 4) there are a few group of people, elderly gentlemen who talk so loudly that , it looks like each one is competing with other on whose vocal chord can be stretched the most and the decibels of their voice are on such high pitch, that it gets on one's nerves. please gentleman , let the place remain a serene and calm lung space. My sincere attempt to bring my observation to the notice of whosoever , who can sort these out. 05.01.2021 Till as on date the gentleman who sells vegetable juice is always with his mobile in his hand. He is selling vegetable juice, why should he use his mobile? There are scores of people, who frequent this place, wherein they have to pass in front of his cart. I am not indicating that his having the mobile in his hand is with any ulterior motive. But, I feel precaution is better than cure. I suggest that he can refrain from using the mobile, but for taking a call or calling somebody It's very annoying and irritating
