Engineering College, Nowgong is a newly established college at Nowgong, Distt.-Chhatarpur (MP) by Madhya Pradesh Government under autonomous category. The college is initially located at Nowgong Polytechnic Campus and will be shifted to new building in future for which around 200 acre land is already allocated by Govt. of MP near Naura Pahari (behind Navodaya School) on NH 75 around 5 km from Nowgong. The engineering college, Nowgong initially offers two branches namely civil engineering and mechanical engineering with an intake of 60 in each branch . The number of courses offered will increase in coming years. The college has state-of-art facilities like computer center, library, well equipped labs in each department and other amenities as per AICTE recommendations. The institute has got the approval from AICTE new Delhi since academic session 2012-13. The admission in first year of Bachelor of Engineering will be through entrance test PEPT conducted by Vyavashaik Pariksha Mandal Bhopal and all India exam JEE (Main) conducted by CBSE New Delhi. The Counselling will be conducted by Director of Technical Education, Satpura Bhawan Bhopal. The Institute has been inaugurated on 30th January 2013 by Honourable Shri Shiv Raj Singh Chauhan Ji, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. The Institute is having Excellent library, Language Lab, Central Computer Centre along with laboratory facilities. Engineering College Nowgong, Chhatarpur believes that education is a journey that never ends. The endeavor is to frame an individual who can accommodate into any culture of this global village. The institution’s philosophy is founded on the belief that every individual has his/her own trajectory of learning. Being Principal of this college, I try my best to ensure students get quality education and a great atomosphere for learning. Under the guidance of our respected Principal sir, teachers at Government Engineering Nowgong’s always try to impart quality education to students in an healty environment. Some of our distinct features include, The college is dedicated to providing the highest quality education possible for our students, in order to effect the best treatment available for all of the individuals and families whose lives may someday be touched by those who have come to us for their education and training and to make the candidate able to answer enemies on border. College’s vision is to be a respected leader in providing quality, affordable instruction in Addictive Disorders Studies resulting from a system of clear communication of mission, goals, and objectives. We also try to foster a learning environment that promotes responsible, principled behavior which respects the dignity of all members of the community. Presently Government of M.P allotted 200 Acres of area close to Nowgong Town only 16 km from Chhatarpur city in which construction of new college building has been almost comleted. It is expected that upcoming academic session will commence in the new college campus. It is point out that inspire of lack of sufficient human resources and basic infrastructure the college is progressing towards its goal of providing quality education and overall development of student and most of the student from first semester to seventh semester has achieved more than 75% marks. The college is also going to graduate its first batch in June 2017
