This is a new church completed five years ago. A beautiful church a 'must visit' for any visitors to Purana Bhojpur. Officially this Roman Catholic church is known as the Church of Ascension. It's about 3 kms north of Dumraon railway station. It is octagonal in shape with a steep dome in the centre.The Sanctuary and the backdrop are a good example of modern church architecture. There is a big school in the campus next to a hospital. This mission is about 60 years old.
