This is a very small urban railway station. Passenger and intercity express trains stop here. Basic amenities needs more attention. Infrastructure development required here.

Small Rail station near Dergaon Town. One can travel from Guwahati to Dergaon town through this Station. Dergaon Town is about only 4 KM from this Station. You can travel from Guwahati to Dergaon Town by JTTN INTERCITY (Train Number 15605) which departs Guwahati at 8.40 PM and arrives at Baruah Bamun Gaon Station at 6.15 am in the next morning. Railway needs to improve facilities inside the Station.
