This is the only jail of our Silchar town where all the prisoners are kept and this jail is known as Silchar Central Jail. This jail is located in the jail road opposite to Police Reserve Office and it's boundary wall start just opposite to the Oriental school. So, all the criminals after their crime is proved and when sentenced to jail for some years or for lifetime are prisoned here in this jail. So, if you guys want to stay away from this place then don't do any crime. Let Silchar be a crime free town and India be a crime free country. Thank you 😊
