Kasbeswari Kali Mata or Kamalasagar Kali Temple was built on a hill-top by Maharaja Dhanya Manikya in the late 15th century.[1] It is situated just beside the Bangladesh border, The lake, Kamalasagar, in front of this temple rightly enhances its beauty.
Good place near the Indo-Bangladesh border, the temple above the vast lake resembles its beauty into another level. Hardly 1 hour away from the capital city Agartala, near teh temple there is a market used by both indians and Bangladeshis, vendors and customers from both end went there with nationality proof by id card etc. Once there was also a park behind the temple but now a days it is restricted and use for picnic purpose only.
