The college has Honours teaching in Electronics and L.S.W. (Labour & Social Welfare) also. In addition to the above courses the collage is running career Oriented course in B.C.A., Industrial Microbiology B.B.S. & Biotechnology. Dr. Jagannath Mishra Collage is the only collage in BRA Bihar University where Biotechnology (Hons.) teaching facility is available. This course was sponsored by UGC in 2001. Several students of the course have been selected for M.Sc. Biotechnology in different universal of India Some of them have been selected by different biotech multinational companies. The collage has well equipped laboratory for Micro-Biology, Bio-Chemistry, Cytology, plant tissue culture room with temperature, light and moisture controlling systems. Theories and practical classes are conducted by different teachers who are specialized in the aforesaid subjects. Teacher of reputed universities of India having specialized sill are invited to engage different classes. This is the reason that students of other Universities outside the state. Hostel facilities managed by the collage shall be provided to the outsider. Rooms in girl’s hostel in university campus is allotted to girl students. The collage management is interested to provide placement to the students having honours degree in Biotechnology, Industrial Microbiology B.B.A. & B.C.A. For this placement cell has been constituted. This will organize campus selection by inviting multinational companies
