This park is perfect for running, jogging and walking. If you want to spend some time in nature and in some peace in this city then it is also perfect for that. Their are municipality well maintained washrooms having great hygiene. Only problem is for drinking water in park, you need to buy or Carry your own water bottle.
Nehru Park is a fairly large green area in Delhi. Good place for Joggers and Yoga enthusiasts. A pretty decent playground for kids and youngsters. It also turns out to be a good place for picnic during winters. Well maintained flowerbeds, artificial fountains and mature trees makes it a pleasant place for relaxing. Important Info: 1. Free Parking is available outside the park. 2. Hawkers selling ice creams, chips, cold drinks etc can be found outside the park. 3. Weekends are comparatively more crowded. 4. Public Convenience available inside the park
Nehru Park is one of the biggest and best-maintained public parks in New Delhi. So, if you’re looking for a lush space for a picnic plan or a morning stroll, we say you head over now. Nehru Park is open every day of the week till 8pm. It’s spread over 80 acres and has concrete pathways for you to get your jog on. You’ll also find two open air gyms and, quite obviously, a whole lot of green space to stretch, exercise, and even play a game of cricket or football (or frisbee?). The location is central, too, so it's quite accessible. The park is also great to take your dogs for walks—they'll be ecstatic when they see all that open space, so brace yourself—but make sure to clean up after them and keep the park in a neat, clean condition.
Well maintained, lush green park with elite class crowd...simply wonderful. Free and ample parking space is an added advantage. The only thing which is lacking is no food stall or snack point except some small water bottle chips kiosk. Fountain at the end of park is enhancing its beauty, Kids friendly park. Neat and clean public convenience that too is child and women friendly.
Irony...it is called Nehru Park but it has a statue of Lenin inside 😊. In the heart of the city, contributing to being the lungs of Delhi. It's lush green well kept park with ample of variety of trees and shrubs and rocks and walking track with beautiful landscaping creation of hills and valleys and wooden bridge for walk variation and pics. On holidays, it works perfect place for family picnics. Do visit and have a good time
