Long long ago the passanger train was running between India and Bangladesh through this station. Now no passanger train run. Only goods trains are running between India and Bangladesh. This station is situated at the border of India and Bangladesh. This station had great historical importance. But the condition of the station is poor. Immediate renovation and preservation are required.

Even those things is very important and essential for daily life using, you have to purchase from Malda town, district head quarters and you have no idea what to do. Heavy scope of improvement for the area and it's dwellers. Undoubtedly the area is very much calm and quiet. Inhabitants are careless for their own interests, like as road communication, electricity and water; briefly facilities of modern civilization is not available here. Even after 72 years of independence. Sorry to say that no one else thinks about this country and countrymen. Hope situations will be changed and we can describe us a civilized nation meaningfully.
