A quiet place nestled away in the heart of the city.I found many new books I spent hundreds of rupee’s to buy ,stacked here waiting for the reader to pick them up .book borrowing and renewal is automated making it very easy to go in and out hassle free.there is a sofa at the entrance and few chairs on the top floor inside the library if you wish to sit and peruse through the pages before you took the book home.reading room is quiet spacious and they allow you to take your laptop inside and work quietly if you wish to do so.rented books are not allowed in reading room or reference room.only thing I didn’t like was when I was going through the biography section upstairs there wasn’t enough lighting or a fan .I was sweating from the humid heat ,but then again I sweat a lot.still proper lighting and a couple of pedestal fans will improve the situation.I’m satisfied with the general set up but you can’t compare it with huge libraries in Delhi or mumbai if that’s where you are coming from.
Good collection of books. Supportive staff and the book borrowing machine is user friendly. Lift facility is also available.
