Divine Vivera – a week ago

This is one of the oldest Roman Catholic church (Latin Rites) in Archdiocese of Verapoly. This church has a legacy of more than 3 centuries. Carmalite preist Fr. Matheus has given contribution to the great botanical guide Hortus Malabaricus. There are around 3000+ families under this parish. Services are available on all days. 4 masses on Sundays and 3 on weekdays. There is a big ground in front of the church for parking. Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is celebrated on July 16th of every year. The main attraction and the special item while feast is 'Sabarjilli' (Indian Pear).

One of the very old Church and ancient churches around 300 years old. Very beautiful and worship place. A big ground is also there in front of the church for the flag hosting and car parking. It's also one of the biggest parishes in the archdiocese. There is a cemetery just across the road near this Church
