Very important Junction station under Eastern Railway system. Connecting all corners of India. Huge crowd during office hours. However many booking counters are open during rush hour traffic. Huge pressure of passengers 24x7. Now local trains have been reintroduced post Covid outbreak. Please keep this facility clean and green.
Cleanliness is good. Toilets for both men and women are available but dirty need improvement. Dry food stalls and book stalls are there. Ticket counter service is good.Train route Howrah/Siliguri/Delhi/.
Neat & Clean station. One of the most important stations of Eastern Railways. Parking area, waiting room is well maintained. Only drawback is insufficient Foot overbridge.
A big station. Long platforms. A huge number of trains cross this station per day. That's why it's a important railway station.
