When heading towards Mysore or in the Mysore Road - do visit this beautiful temple. Clearly visible from the main road is this magnificent huge Panchamukhi Golden Ganesha in all its glory. Complex is huge and an artificial fish pond giving it a nice touch. The idol of Lord Ganesha inside the temple in the panchamukhi form is really unique and so blissful and first time that I've seen. Parking is near the entrance. Needs more maintenance in the exterior but inside its calm and beautiful. Blessed.
A beautiful, well maintained temple! Though there are many temples for Lord Ganesha, it's pretty rare to see one with five faces, hence the name "Panchamukhi", which translates as five faces! Though the temple is small, it's very well maintained! A must visit place if you're traveling on the Mysore Road, Bangalore!!
Here we can notice five faced Lord Ganesh idol within the temple and also upon the roof. Well buit infrastructure , cool place, not a crowdy area.
Panchamuki Vinayaka carved in single stone. Vinayak idol is placed on a big srichakra. (As told bt temple priest) Ample parking, peaceful place. There is a Udupi aahar adjacent to it it's also good.
It's the temple of Lord Ganesha, where five heads of the Lord's are seen here. Each head depicts of various shades inherited by the Lord. Hence called Panchamukhi Ganesha. Temple is big enough that, it can be spotted from the main highway, because of the Big Statue of the Lord is erected on the temple, which is the main attraction. Inside there is an idol of the same, which is worshipped. Overall it's a peaceful place for stop by, whomever is travelling towards Mysore.
