Bijoy Narayan Mahavidyalaya is a under graduated public college. Bejoy Narayan Mahavidyalaya, also known as Itachuna College, is the only college in Itachuna. Established in 1950, it is located in the district of Hooghly, West Bengal, India. It was affiliated with Calcutta University from 1950 to 1957, but has been affiliated with the University of Burdwan since then. The college offers honours and graduate courses in Arts and science and offers 13 awards each year. Bejoy Narayan Mahavidyalaya has been awarded a B++ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council . The college is also recognized by the University Grants Commission , short name UGC. A large playground here, college campus is also very large. Canteen is available here. Hostel are also available , UGC hostel, muslim hostel are situated in side of main station road. Besides college a famous historical place called Itachuna Rajbari situated here. There students are enjoy here. Also many many food stall are located in front of college. Very popular college . The relation between students and teachers is excellent like best friends. Most important thing is that there is no ragging activity. Every students helps others as a guide. If you deserve college for education then it is the best place. Finally you must love this college.
