Earlier this place was only called SDM Court. The tehsil building was located in Mohalla Sheeri Mian among the population. A few years ago, a new tehsil building was built here, expanding this place. Now this place is the administrative center of the tehsil. It is still known by both the Tehsil and SDM courts. By the way, there are also offices and residences of CO-police, sub-registrars etc. in this campus. Local lawyers also sit in or around the same premises. There is a lot of activity here on working days. Yes, all the work here is run on governmental lines. Changing places does not change men!
