This place is located just diagonally opposite to Big Bazaar and McDonald/ Pizza Hut. There is a small lane and you will find an unnamed one storey building on the left side of the road. This is a government owned facility where they give covid vaccines. I booked the appointment for this place as it was free. The private hospital had a charge of Rs.780/-. I decided to give it a try and had a backup plan that if it was crowded then I would certainly go to a private hospital. But to my surprise, I only found 3 to 5 people. The facility is on the first floor of the building. There were two lady staff. One of them would note down the appointment and other detail and the other lady's job was to give vaccine shots. As expected, both were indifferent in their approach. The vaccinator would give you a shot from a new syringe on your left arm. It does not pain that time but after few hours, the hand really becomes little tender. She asked people to take crocin after the shot. In my case, all the process was completed quickly and I was out of the building in less than 5 minutes. Thank God! As soon as you are vaccinated, you will get a SMS on your mobile. Then, you can download the certificate and can schedule for the next dose. The place was clean but not well maintained as you can see in the video that I posted with this review. From Virar west railway station, it is 20 minutes walk or you can get a rick for Rs.60/-. Once the appointment is booked, you have to show yourself 15 minutes before the time. They will just check your SMS on mobile. Carry your Photo Id proof but they would not care to check it anyways. Don't expect that they would welcome you or put a red carpet for you. That you cannot hope even in a private hospital where you actually pay Rs.800. However, if you live nearby this area, then get your appointment over here. You would not regret your decision.
