Most powerful deity who is worshipped in Mysore. Legend says that the city is still protected by the goddess. The goddess is said to be one of nine female deities whose temples are spread across South India. The temple is filled with positive vibes and surrounds people with bliss. For any national or foreign tourists, I recommend visiting the temple by climbing up the steps and enjoying the serenity which surrounds. P.S - it is a protected forest (by state government) and don't try to wander into it.

Feels good when we visit temple. temple is old. Well maintained. management handles people crowd very good. Many monkeys are there. They are very entertaining. Please keep food hidden. Many things to buy on the temple way. These are cheap and good quality. Parking is very specious.
