Govt college... it's good in the area.. it is very well connected to to the nearby cities like asansol, Durgapur, raniganj, panagarh...there is direct bus connectivity from all these cities.. nearest railway station are andal-8km,. Ukhra 2 km,,and siduli 1.5 km

Khandra College, a co-educational institution imparting higher education, is located at Khandra, Dist. Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal (Lat-23° 06’ 33” N &Long-87° 22’ 05”E). The college was established in 1981 under the leadership of Late Amalendu Bakshi, a local Philanthrope, to cater higher education among the boys and girls of the surrounding area, who were mostly first-generation learners. The effort was soon acknowledged by the Government of West Bengal, and in the year of its inception the University of Burdwan accorded affiliation to the college as a co-educational institution for higher studies.
