We visited Kev's on a rainy Sunday. There is a terrace with a roof on top with the sides open so that one can enjoy the feel of open air seating even when it is raining. The terrace is beautifully decorated with cute hanging planters. The famous menu needs no description. We had hot chocolate, hot chicken platter consisting of sausage, salami, meat loaf and fried eggs, French fries and chocolate softy ice cream. Everything tasted delicious as expected. We spent a couple of hours enjoying the food and beverages till the rain stopped.
The food was good. The view even better. Service could be a little bit better. The tea, well it takes a little adjusting to, a little too astringent for my taste. But the sausage platter was as yummy as it can get. Overall, must visit. Oh and look for the open roof seats.
Keventers Darjeeling has completed 100 years since its establishment and has been serving sumptuous English breakfast, teas and snacks for generations. The ground floor is the bakery section and while you climb the narrow stairs upwards, you are introduced to a certain old world charm. There are a few indoor seats with a relaxed environment. The major attraction, however, for us is the open terrace with several seating arrangements. From here you can get the panoramic views of the mighty ranges as well as that of the busy road below. You can spend hours here sipping your hot tea or coffee in the company of your loved ones.
This place needs no introduction neither a review! it is the signature culinary destination of Darjeeling! the ambience, the food, the location, service and view all are at a benchmark level! indeed outstanding! Thank you Mr. Rahul (the owner) for allowing me to grab a table without waiting in the queue on 28.12.2021 morning for breakfast. We all really enjoyed. 😍❤️
They are great for any meal, but I had breakfast there this time. If you fancy chicken and pork, then this the place, providing one of the best dishes around here. It has charming cape style decor with a series of small rooms and little nooks and crannies, a bar area, and outdoor seating with shade. A must try for everyone visiting Darjeeling.
