Established in 1997, Makum college caters the need of intermediate, degree education and others. The campus has a KKHSOU study center. It was It is very near to NH37 near Makum, so communication is easy. Along with local sutdents many students from Digboi, Jagun, Doomdooma, Sadiya etc. are benefited from this college. The college has come long way but it still lacks in many areas. One of them being its inability to provide education in Science stream. However it provides diploma courses in Computer Application.
