We ate at ban Thai. The service was great. The food was amazing. Ideally ask your server for recommendations. We tried two new things. The steam fish on coriander broth and a mix Chinese vegetables in soy garlic sauce. Both were exceptional. Their yellow Thai curry is made from scratch in house and another lovely dish. We had multiple things and all were very good.
Thank you for hosting us so well, we are glad we chose Oberoi Grand for our stay. Being a hotelier myself I could notice all the small gestures done by the staff to make our stay pleasant. Every staff member with whom we came in contact was helpful, polite and kind. More than the hotel itself, it is worth coming again for the people working there. From Reception to Housekeeping and the person in charge of breakfast, they were very friendly, hospitable and accommodating. I really appreciate the efforts you put in to make your guests feel comfortable 😀 Keep it up!! Kudos to all!🥳
I stayed there for almost 3 days. I must say that the service was absolutely commendable and The price I paid was worth it. The staff( from the bottom to top) was really polite and willing to attend any request. If I talk about food than one should must try breakfast buffet and enjoy the mouthwatering food. Specially the strawberry shake in the buffet was absolutely mind blowing.
Wonderful place to stay at while in Kolkata. The staff is very friendly and professional. Lot of renovation done to keep up with times maintaining the royal Victorian architecture. Awesome food and the breakfast spread is just too good to miss. The best thing about the hotel is their staff. Looking forward to stay there whenever I visit the city again.
This is an exceptional hotel with very comfortable rooms and warm service. I especially liked my quiet room facing the garden:) Fantastic restaurant, excellent breakfast, and tasty coffee - all served by kind and smiling staff.
