Udaipur city railway station is clean and bad smell free or less bad smell. Bus stand is near to the railway station and outside the station all other transportation are available. Painting in the station is good and roof design is also good. Due to corona guidelines most of the ticket counter is closed but one is opened. There is a Big TV also by which we can generate ticket instantly. There is a rest room also for free but the facilities are chargeable and attached with the rest room.
The best part is its not so crowded. Clean station. All facility available. Its a major stop for all trains. But you cannot find any food plaza here so bring your own food. Announcement is too low to hear just 5 meters away from speakers. Its nearby to Central Bus stand around 600 mts. Nearby you can find hotels to stay.
Nice place. Clean, friendly environment, helping nature people and staff. Rates of goods and foods are affordable. Free RO water available. Rest room and chairs on platform is good. Overall great experience.
For those travelers who would like to explore how Indian railways work, Udaipur railway station is an ideal one to check out. The station is housed as a magnificent building. Despite the crowd is well maintained and is clean. In case if some one just wants to check out the place do buy a platform ticket to visit as in India without platform tickets one can't enter the railway station. There is no need to buy the platform tickets if one is traveling by a train starting from there..
Good station but it really need a lot of improvement & maintenance. Many tourist visit this place throughout the year so it has to be build & maintained in that way.. otherwise good station..👍
