Although the general perception about the college is good but it's contradicted by the fact that passing percentage is relatively very low, specially in science streams. This is the case when the admission cut off percentage is higher with respect to other colleges nearby and students getting into college are better. There must be fundamental flaws in every department, be it approch of faculty, teaching methodology, syllabus management and the very quality of knowledge imparted. The false personification of institution as centre of excellence will not help. These same students when they go to actually good colleges they realise what really good education means. A mundane yearly routine of completing syllabus anyhow is not the way to go. Quantity with quality should be the focus.
