To my surprise this is closed for public , post lockdown started i went today for a walk to see closed for public board . I hope forest department has taken this decision on some logic , But we need such spaces for a weekend stroll or a walk .Hopefully someone brings this to the notice of elected representatives .

The forest has now been closed for public. This is very sad, this was the only forest area within city and public must be allowed to use it. There is no near by walking area for pedestrians in this area. Extreme arrogance shown by officials to ban jogger’s and walkers

Awesome experience.the moment you enter the entire surrounding suddenly gets transformed into a thick forest. Seems this place was used for experimenting different varieties of bamboo plants and they discontinued later for some unknown reasons. Amazing place at the heart of JP Nagar. Must visit for nature lovers for a morning experience.

Walking in the forest was banned for covid-19 lockdown at the end of March 2020. The officials having their apartments inside this forest have made it their private property. Now the main entrance gate has "PUBLIC NOT ALLOWED"

It's a campus of an educational institution so outsiders use this as a pathway to cross over to each side or just for walks. It has no place to sit or ponder. The lung space created by the trees are brilliant. For those who are adventure seeking you can take the off-beaten path to various parts of the forested area.
