Dussehra Maidan is one of the best ground in Ujjain. People used to gather here they play football, cricket and many more games. In the evening and morning you will see many defence aspirants are running to join army. Municipal has built very awesome infrastructure here sitting chairs for the old age people, pull ups poll for army aspirants, separate clean and hygenic public toilets for men and women, Water tanks etc. Every republic day and independence day district police comes and march past along with NCC and Scout cadets. On the Dussehra district level Ravan Dahan makes this ground more important for the people living in ujjain. Near to this place you can roam at kothi road, swimming pool, kalidas academy and for food and treats Shree Ganga and Apna Sweets restaurants are very famous.
