This one star for insurance and billing. They made me wait with a heart patient for 4 and a half hours before discharge on a cashless claim to solve a query which some genius in billing had with insurance which was a differential between tariff plans agreed between the insurer and the hospital. This was utterly ridiculous and not expected from a hospital like this. Please raise your standards and get better with processes. +Doctors and nurses are very good and very helpful. Support staff is also very supportive. They corrected and came back with an apology so te rating it as it is a good hospital.
This is less of the hospital and more of money minded institution. My father in law was admitted here for about one month... They are least bothered about patients and only about how they can make maximum money from a patient and treat likewise. Ordeal doesn't end here. Except very few seniors, other doctors lack experience n knowledge. They never tell you what treatment is being given to patient. Co operation is zero. They don't have basic facility for cashless mediclaim insurance. After one month of mental ordeal and paying them huge sum. We had to take our patient to another hospital. Never take your loved ones to this hospital is what we suggest from our experience.
An Open Letter You understand the importance of a DOCTOR only when you encounter some sort of medical needs. This year(2021) started with one such emergency and I spent a good amount of time in hospital(SUM ULTIMATE MEDICARE HOSPITAL). It was then when I realised how tough it is to be a Doctor. From the joy of giving good news to the sorrow of breaking a bad news, they keep on hanging from one emotion to the other. Somedays they save lives others they can't. Still they wake up everyday to face the faces full of hope and fear. And face one question "WILL I be ALRIGHT Doc?" In particular, these years are more challenging for them. Keeping their personal lives on stand by, they are serving us willingly. It takes a lot of courage to do that. So here I am saluting these HEROS, and pray for their well-being and good, healthy lives. Grateful for life to Dr Puspak Samal ,Dr Ayaskanta Singh, Dr Rakesh Mohanty, Dr Sidhartha Samal,Dr Balakrishna, Dr Abhay Sahoo,Vishwajeet Sir, Umakant sir ,and all the nursing staff of Sum Ultimate Care. You all stood by me when I was shattered and helped me and Manish to come back to normal living. THANKYOU ???? From a heart broken wife who was taken cared along with her Husband.
Well this hospital hardly receives any star...poorest service I have ever received...poor service by doctors, nurses and all the staff.....Very rude behaviour by the staff members... Our pateint case worsen there... doctor and nurses didn't paid attention even in ICU .... Nurse ignore their patients...no care given by Nurses and hospital staff.....????
This is most unprofessional hospital under corporate insurance. I will never visit this hospital nor will recommend to anyone. Pros: Highly skilful doctors Cons: 1.worst billing desk : If you are going for cashless corporate insurance then guys go with energy drink as you need to run from floors to floor.Patient floor IPD manager will redirect you to billing desk and they are at basement with no mobile network and they will tell sir extension is busy so be ready with hours and hours of struggle.insurance desk guys are like govt officers :). 2.Attitude of staffs : They are very arrogant and even dont bother to show respect for 70 years old patient and they are questioning back who told you to visit our hospital ? yes it is bad we all know so dont tell us :) 3.too much money minded and dont bother about patient 4.for covid test they charge 3000 INR...omg even international airport does charge only 800...are they doing some out box testing ?curious to know about mechanism behind this testing :)
