Kottayam ST. Mary's Valiya Pally is a knanaya Church Which built more than 500 years ago. The knanaya Community is a very Special christian community in Which the People imigrated in AD - 345 from Syria to lndia at Kodungallur ,an Old port in Kerala under the leadership of the grate knayi Thoma with the blessigട of H. H Uruha Mor Ouseph.
I've attended for many marriages & other functions here.. Very good hall.. Neat & clean.. They not allow liquor inside hall
Heritage church for the parishers. The church faces one of the backwater streams which makes it ideal for getting down as well as boarding the state water way boats. They have a banquet Hall few meters from the church where food and cultural activities can be done. The public washroom is not kept properly and could be improved. Overall good except the public restroom being not upto mark.
Nt bad hall....if it's a hot day ...We gonna be sweating like anything...Need more facilities and innovations
