This place is awesome. Myself and my friend normally prefer lakeside table which gives us a picturesque view of the lake. Yesterday the weather was stormy and it was raining. We sat near the lake under a roof. The food was delicious, as usual. We totally enjoyed the ambience and the food.
The committee members look after this place instead of looking after their pockets. Wonderful ambience and lots of BENGALIS. good food ,wish they developed their own club kitchen. I belong to the old school and I strongly believe a CLUB should in essence be like a second home. Nowadays clubs are sourcing out their food and that is bad. One can always go a restaurant for that. I think committee members who want to have it easy prefer outsourcing . But nevertheless Lake club has improved immensely. Thankfully two other clubs of which I am a member have their own club kitchens.
Its one of the oldest rowing clubs in Rabindra Sarovar area... While sports is primary activity here, social activities are great too and food is awesome
