I have worked there for 5 months. Cannot say about all the the team leaders, but the team leader I had to face, Girish Upadhya, was pathetic. Knows no respect and acts as if he is a very tactical and a smart and understanding leader. Basically he is an empty vessel. Not complain about all the team leaders and the managers because my manager was undoubtedly very supportive. He is a great person. He is Sagarnil Bhaumik. He would treat you very nicely and will takecare of you. He understands.. Regarding the HR dept, I wonder why there is a HR dept ? The only job they do is they shortlist the candidates. They do not even interview the candidates either. That is done by the managers. I cannot comment on the HR dept, because they have no function within the company whatsoever.
It's been 10 months I've been working with Sun Knowledge and I have had quite satisfactory experience. Let me break down my experience from interview till now: 1. Though I had to wait for a long hour but interview went smoothly. I guess I built up my patience during that waiting hour. lol :) 2. HR was a bit rude during documentation time, seemed like she was in a hurry to do everything and was scolding everyone. Gave me a school vibe. Haha! 3. My training went well and I joined Ops soon. There is no proper training I would say. They make u sit to buddy up with someone and u need to learn... Self learning skill is a must to work in this company... After a lot of struggle I learnt the process and still learning... 4. Managers are friendly and approachable. My manager is Sagarnil Bhowmick and he is a jolly person and quite helpful with leadership qualities. My TL is Argha Mukherjee and he is very hardworking and dedicated employee and is supportive of his teammates. There is not much work pressure as well. 5. There is a cafeteria where we get subsidized meal which gets deducted from your Salary. The food quality is not so good but is good enough for emergency purposes... There is a snacks section too where we can order and it gets deducted from salary. 6. Salary has always been on time. But I feel as it is an international process, the salary is bit low. In these time, where everything's price are hiked, it is quite difficult... I don't have much complaint as when I was a fresher, this company gave me a chance to work with them and give me experience and I am quite grateful for that... Hope working with this company for more time will give me more insight and I will be able to gain more experience :)
I came here for an interview yesterday for job opportunity via a consultancy. Many like me were harassed and kept waiting for 2 hours or more to no avail! The security team asked seven of us out of eleven people to leave abruptly. That too, very rudely. Whereas all we wanted were jobs to earn money not to pastime! Very unprofessional HR department here. Therefore, I'd request everyone, If value your time and effort, please dont waste your time to come in this interview.
One of the worst and time waste company,are are rejecting people in introduction round 1st round ,how any one can judge and reject them by jst asking their names and salary expectations,the girl who took 1st round,she is very arrogent,I suggest don't go and save your time
This place HR department is very unprofessional inspite of clearing all the rounds and sending a Joining Mail along with the proper date and time. They still ask the candidate to give interview again and says, 'The mail was due to technical glitche and need to clear one more round' and then reject the candidates after wasting more than 7 days. It is highly recommended not to join being and international KPO they are offering even less than an Domestic industry and have no value for time. Very much unexpected experience from so called top KPO company.
