Wonderful Teachers but poor infrastructure and playground (50m) the size of a parking lot. 2700 students living together as a family (Not if you get low marks...????). School has very high quality teaching staff in the secondary section but is crowded as hell. No scope for physical and mental growth...not a good preference for post pubertal boys and high energy girls who need a spacious environment to grow. Doesn't allow all sports (Specially football) in picnic and PT Classes. Good teaching...bad management.
Very very beautiful and educational school. All the teachers and staff are responsible for the students. I studying in these school. This school is maintained by principal. She take a review of all the class everyday . All the teachers and staff are friendly and came to school everyday????????????. They also have several clubs and a big play ground.????♂️???? Also.
1. For almost half of the year little or no classes are held, rather they prepare the students for performing in Rabindra Jayanti program, Independence Day program, Teacher's day, Science exibition, Annual sports, Annual function, fests of other schools, etc. And at the last moment they overburden the students with a lot of homework and extra classes. Once they even postponed tests for these useless programs. 2. One day I was late for an extra class for about 5 minutes and the principal gave me the punishment to stand in front of her chamber for 6 hours. There has been many incidents where students are given extremely harsh punishment over a negligible matter. The principal hates people having the surname "Jaiswal". She is the biggest racist and the most cruel person I have come across. 3. Most of the teachers are also arrogant and cruel like the principal. Not only the students but even the parents are harrassed in this school. The office staff is extremely irresponsible. They never give right information and harass the students. When the students get in trouble due to them and complain about it, they never accept their fault, rather the principal calls and scolds the students for complaining. 4. Before annual sports and Independence Day, all students are forced to work like slaves. Every year, several students faint while working hard for hours in extremely warm temperature and then the principal calls and scolds them telling that they must not had proper breakfast, blaming the whole thing on the students and their parents. 5. Going to excursion is compulsory or marks are deducted and performing on Independence day is also compulsory or marks are deducted. In excursion, the food prepared for students is of extremely bad quality. On independence day, even if it rains, students are made to perform on playground while the teachers and other guests watch them standing under a shade.
I was a student of this school and teach students from various schools but have seen only 2 schools best in kolkata, pvm and xaviers, here teachers r very good, they r inspired to teach in a way that they dont need tutions or need very less of it..moreover only academics is not eduction tbis school also gives equal importance to curriculars.. I have seen students from other schools including lorretto, nopany etc saying in their school teacher didnt used to teach so dutifully , giving notes n every thing, *only office staff needs to be more cooperative, and sometimes is unnecessarily strict, but however it gives less stress on discipline whivh shouldn't be done, because discipline is foremost in this times of distractions..
I am one of the alumni of this school,but to be honest i had a horrible experience during my school days. The teachers are so partial be it the junior or the secondary teachers,taunting students now and then although it is a coeducational school but still the teachers will not leave you taunting if they catch you talking or smiling or sitting with the boys. Apart from few handful teachers,the whole faculty including the principal is no les than a curse to the school. Same thing is now happening with my sister,i would request the management to please recruit teachers who have a good nature and behavior towards their students without being partial.
