I recently visited srm hospital katangalathur.lovely experience. I brought my wife for nose bleeding.doctor shri balaji and team are dedicated doctors caring, patient hearing , right treatment wow wonderful god bless them .doctor balaji soft spoken patient hearing and wonderful human being in the ENT wing.god bless all with same service. Very unpleasant experience.The procedure to meet the junior first.we were referred to see the paediatric surgeon. When we went to see the doctor he was extremely rude and bossy. His behaviour was completely unacceptable even when we asked for clarification. He refused to clarify and asked us rudely to go if we didn't want to see him. A child's specialist with out patience is pathetic. Even when we went to see the senior, we were not satisfied with the consultation. We have had better experiences at other hospitals.
The hospital which has ruined my life. I went there as the I heard the treatment is very good. I had a neck swelling. The asked me to get admitted which was not necessary. 3rd in days I was there and they took all the tests and concluded It was Tuberculosis and sent me prescribing tablets. I had to pay for a number if tests and scans plus medicines. As the disease was not curing and the lump was becoming big I approached them but in vain those over confident doctor gave more tablets and asked me to wait for six months. Continuing the tablets pain and lump worsening I approached after 2 months the doctor wanted me to get admitted again I understood their motive . I was a specimen for their college and research. I never wanted to go with them . So I approached a different hospital and with only one scan a Rs.150 test they proved I was having metastatic cancer. Viewers please don,t ho yo this place as they do not treat us like patients but like specimens for their study.
Came to the hospital for am emergency at 3am. Was not attended till 4 as they were battling another emergency they said. Surprised that only one doctor is available and that person needs to take care of the other emergency. ECG machine not available. Another patient's ventilator machine was not working and she had trouble breathing. A replacement machine was not got immediately. The doctors present there were inefficient, lethargic, indifferent and absolutely careless but for one person who took the time to answer queries. Least that can be done in this scenario is respond and treat immediately which didn't happen. For an emergency or treatment I will never again go to SRM
