Small Airport but all the necessary services are there. Food court is on the 1st floor which is quite good. Ample seating arrangements on the waiting lounge. well maintained toilets. Snack vending machines are also there. Beside this, airport is connected with the metro rail. You can find the metro railway terminal station entrance just on the opposite side of the exit gate of airport.
People have a notion that all the establishments that are run by private entities provide better services than government owned establishments. Well, Lucknow airport just feels like a highly upgraded railway station rather than a standard airport. There are no ceilings at places, plasters are coming off walls. There's no basic facility like Uber parking outside the arrival.
Simple airport, all the flight gates are next to each other. Congested place with few shop and outlets. Staff is supportive. It also has Metro station is just opposite of the airport and walking distance, a good to have. The taxi driver asked for ridiculous amount took metro instead. The place is not clean and hygiene.
Airport looks so good and very clean with beautiful architecture and design. It's easy to travel from one place to another with domestic and international both. Food court is available on the first floor. Safety facility is good here, some things need to be done for improvisation that is build more tickets and checking counters in order to avoid rush at the same time. For plantation so it's good but not well mentioned. Transport facilities are good from here. This place is connected via metro which makes it easy to approach from the inside of the city itself. Currently it's known as India's private airport undertaken by adani group.
CCS Airport, Lucknow is a modern Airport having good passenger amenities. The ambience of the place is reasonably good. It is spacious but with increasing passenger traffic, it is becoming little congested. The speciality of the airport is quick and efficient handling of baggage. I have been traveling to Lucknow for quite some time. On every occasion I find the baggage collection to be really fast. Outside the airport, there is ample parking space and the traffic handling is also efficient. This is one of the good airports of the country.
