Very basic food yet utterly delicious. Minimal spices, oil still it is tasty and hard to resist. One should definitely visit, if you want pure veg food without any second thought.
Nice place for staying. Well maintained, neat & clean. Best food. However, staff expects tip every time in annoying manners. This leaves not so good impression in the end.
You get good food in a clean environment at just Rs 110. What more do you want. Starts at 11 in the morning till 2 pm and again from 7 in the evening till 9 pm. Sunday lunch is special menu costs Rs 140.
We had booked this facility through Yatra Dham for 16 people with total payment in advance. Had also confirmed on the phone. When we arrived in the middle of the night after an arduous 10 hours long bus ride, we were shocked to be denied admission - the guards were not aware of any booking--despite showing them the payment receipt and booking reference number. With children and elderly family members kept hungry and standing for over an hour, we had to call the trustees who thankfully rushed to the place. They were however in total denial of our booking and kept blaming Yatra Dham for being an online fraudulent agency. With much effort and investigation we were able to get in touch with Yatra Dham people who were helpful and had transferred the money to the Gujarati Samaj account and provided correct reference for the receipt number and the name of the manager they had communicated with. The trustees were still in denial and kept searching their office records for any receipt which they eventually did find. Because of internal management negligence and lack of professional communication, we had to face so much inconvenience - the worst was when the trustees thought of us as being non-Gujarati non-Jains just because we were from Pune and spoke in Marathi. They never owned up to their irresponsibility and arrogance nor did they apologize. Even chairs were denied for sitting when we were trying to politely request and sort out the matter. So sad that in the name of social and religious service such organizations act with utmost insensitivity and mismanagement!! Hope no-one has to face such problems again in the future. On the plus side though, the facilities were clean and well kept and very reasonably priced (just a warning: discriminatory pricing for non-Gujaratis!)
