This hospital really cares for its patients and visitors. In my case they went out of their way to support me - especially the management and those in the A & E department. All hospitals should follow suit and learn from them. Due to my condition I can rely on them now to keep me safe. What a brilliant bunch. Thanks management and A & E department staff! Keep it up.
Hi, I book a schedule for paid vaccination for my mother on 23 April as per arogya setu app. After reaching to hospital they refused with the reason non availability of stock vaccine. Staff ensure me next day they will call me but till now I haven't received any call from them. What does this mean govt are providing enough dose to center then y they are giving such reason or they want to stock till the time for panic will came and they sell for higher price.
My family have been using this hospital since ints inception 2o years ago & the recent transition to fortis. While this hospital took care of my sister when she had an accident , after the transition , it seems to have taken a bad turn. Last week I had called to check if there were commencing Covid vaccinations, the answer was an emphatic No. Therefore I was shocked to know that they had recently commenced vaccinations about 2 -3 days ago, while I wanted to get a corvid certificate from the doctor, he/she did not have the prescribed form, and asked us to get it printed(btw all hospitals provide this printed form & do not ask their customers to get it printed) & come back the next day, this consultation was charged @1000. While we had to go back the next day in the evening as he/she comes in the evening( btw they make you wait for 2 hours after giving a confirmed appointment, speaks volumes of professionalism). This doctor in question was adamant that we use only Aadhar card as proof,( wonder if there was any vested interest in insisting on Aadhar) while the government instructions are very clear that there is a choice of 6 approved id proof, this doctor was adamant on Aadhar!!. Also we were told that they only vaccinate between 2-5 pm only & that too after resetting in the portal. Again, the government data clearly states that we can walk in without registration everyone knows that the application is a disaster & does not work always. We had no choice but to go to PM hospital in adyar, who welcomed us without a fuss, got our basic details along with eligible proof, did the routine verifying of our credentials & administered the vaccination in about 35 minutes.Later after the mandatory observation, they let us leave. I was surprised that they did this very professionally, even though they are not as big as fortis malar in infrastructure& otherwise but what they have is a great attitude with a large Heart.The entire team at PM hospital requires appreciation , from he admin staff Mr. suresh Muthusamy , the doctors, the nurses & the support tea, good Job done! Thank you PM hospital, you rock! Lessons for Fortis Malar: watch out, you have just lost a customer from ages before!! Am sure there are many more?
I am a senior citizen residing in Besant Nagar.I registered myself for Covid vaccine,preferring Malar Hospital. But Malar did not respond. No messages from them. After two days of waiting I called them up and asked them for the date .The lady told me to come in any time with my adhar card.She said registration and vaccination will be done simultaneously I went there the following day and to my shock I was stopped inside the gate by two people with some printed listThey told me that my name wasn't there hence no vaccination for me. They were rude and impolite to me, a supersenior. I was put off completely. they said I can go to any hospital accepting walk in citizens for vaccination. My sincere recommendation to all veterens is not to waste their time and energy by going to Malar for the Covid vaccination. There are other hospitals accommodating walk in senior citizens with respect.
