The history of Midnapore Judges Court is very old and prestigious. Highly qualified Hon'ble Judges and Advocates and wise Muhuries/Peshkars gave their service with devotion and dignity for the sake of Indian Constitution.
I am fortunate that I am an employee of this historic district judgship. Needless to say It is one of the oldest district judiciary in West Bengal. The jurisdiction of this court was once very large. After the creation of Purva Medinipur district, it's territory reduced. The same thing will occur when District Court of Jhargram open in near future. All this for smooth administrative purposes and obviously for public interest. Recently a POCSO Court has been inaugurated in this court complex.
