Our first visit to AVS Kottakkal was in may 2019 , my wife's Sonal was barely walking with hardly any balance, as she had suffered from axonal GBS in July 2018 while in Dubai. During the 3 weeks treatment she felt a bit better. We were very delighted with the professional way doctor smitha and her team helped us recover. After coming back to Dubai, after 2 weeks of rest advised by the doctor, we noticed some improvement like foot drop gradually coming down. She was still using walker. But after another 2 weeks of rest, I was able to walk independently upto 30 minutes. When we arrived to kottakal in November 2019 for our second visit Sonal was in a much better shape and able to walk independently for longer durations but needed help at home for cleaning and kitchen work. We came back to Dubai on 26th December and after 2 weeks of rest advised by the doctor, we were managing most of household activities at home without any help. As of last 2 months I am able to walk comfortably in the park or in shopping malls for longer periods, averaging 10000 steps a day. I have been practicing badminton at home I recently completed my first 2k jogging last week. The best part of our journey till date ... Our doctor Smitha was always available for us throughout whether we were in the hospital or in Dubai. I could ask her anything and everything on phone and she guided me pleasantly all the time. can any help me understanding how to get rid of L4,l5,s1 disc & cervical spine pain. i got rear ended by SUV and suffering from pain from last 4 years. can any one suggest is this the right place to get cured. any leads plz comment.. thanks in advance.
