A very busy station, but infrastructure is not up to the mark. Most of the open space in illegally occupied by local people for setting up shops. The Railway and general administration is mute spectators.
The place has a well maintained System of Ticket booking and the platforms are well maintained. the place is very easily accessible.

This is suburban railway service junction as well as Metro and Circular Railway. Well communicated through Buses/Autos connecting Nagerbajar, Chiriamore, Sinthi, Jawpur and with Paikpara. Pick up and Drop off points are available along with wheelchair accessible entrance. Rickshaw-Auto-Toto services are present connecting all nearby places.
