Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences Karnataka was set up in 2006. The college is ranked 4th by the Health Ministry under the Karnataka Government in 2018. It offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate in the medical stream. The institute guarantees MBBS students 12 months internship in its affiliated Hospital and offers them a job as resident doctors after completion of the internship. Admission is offered strictly based on entrance marks in NEET (UG and PG). In 2019 cut-off rank for general students was around 3837-7119 in All India Quota.
There are 4 entrances to the new building.. if you are looking for quick checkup go for the entrance which faces the church.. If you are looking for covid related queries- park your vehicle in the high school field and enter through the gate towards it. There are 2 checkup centers for covid , one for emergencies another for normal. The building is solely reserved for covid patients so if you are here for other disease checkup do bot enter or come from here.
Hospital is good but pediatrics NICU sister is very poor coparativ with pt and securitys is very bad behaviour no one is gaidinng properly worst speech in securitys
Facility are good, but still some staff are asking money to service, who clean the patient they are asking 50rupees per patient, shifting from oparatin room after sifting 200 rupees, after cleaning the child 200 rupees, and the admition entry recipt madam she is not giving change backonly, always she says come after. In room number 40 they are asking 100 rupees, room number 19 from left 2nd entry girl 100 rupees collected with others, and janreic medicin medical he is telling mrp on his own way, if we ask bill he says this iteam still not added to bill, pleas take care of all this and help, and some nurse are behaving hasly with patient, NISU nurse using mobile phone inside NICU, mother wearing gouwn not washed, its smelling, and no public washroom open inside hospetal, mosquitoes are huge, pleas make one booth to give one rupees coin to fill water, pleas make one plant to for hot water also
