Quite spacious not bigger than PTA. There are two ways to get into the hospital. And the staffs are much more socail in behavior to patients
This is one such hospital that changed my perceptions about govt. hospitals as a whole. Unlike what I had been told, OP was never crowded, and because of covid, people with fever, weren’t permitted inside the OP. Staffs were really helpful in guiding and results were delivered fast. Since we wanted to get a few tests done, it was a bit painful to go to each of the concerned department to know the payment details, which they’ll note down on the referral we get from doctor, and then go back to OP, pay the amount, get a receipt and then get back to the concerned department for the tests with the payment receipt (not sure if this is the usual process for payment for xray, ecg and other such services). Except a bit of issues with parking, we had a good experience.
. O P TIME IS 8.00 AM TO 1.00 PM BUT, BUT,BUT GREAT RESPECTED DOCTORS REACHING THEIR SEATS NEAR ABOUT 11.00 AM. AS A RESULT,WHAT HAPPENING ALL PATIENTS (MOSTLY ALL CRITICALY DESPERATED)HOPELESS MENTALY ,PHYSICALLY TIERED,THIRSTY, HUNGER,HAS, NO PLACE FOR SITTING ETC ,ETC ,ETC. This things know every body, suprend,dmo,ETC. They have genuine excuses. BUT POOR PUBLIC, TAX PAYING TWO LEGGED ANIMAL,ONLY SUFFERS...... WHO HEAR!!!
What tell abt govt. Hospital. Little strict thats all
The best District hospital i hve ever seen..well maintained wards,washroom facilities. Lot of parking area..near by private bus stand. We can take all tests here with low cost by using ration card. Te interaction with staff and doctors are awesome .well responsible and patience.and some other outsiders supplying dinner for patients as free.One of the best in Pathanamthitta district..better to visit this.
